Shakespeare Agility LRF Sea Rods

One of the fastest growing aspects of saltwater fishing is LRF or Light Rock Fishing. This sees the use of ultra light tackle and lightweight jigheads baited with artificial and natural worm baits to target smaller shore and inshore species.

These include wrasse, pollack, bass, flounder, coalfish, shannies, sea scorpions and many more that live in rock pools, alongside piers and breakwaters, close in to harbour walls, and off rock ledges. The lightweight, slim blanks feature supple ultra responsive tip sections for maximum bite detection, but with power then phasing in progressively designed to feed vital information straight back in to the hand. This allows you to literally “feel” the lure over the ground as you seek out where the fish are lying, but also to fully work light lures with the minimum of hand movement.

Available in ideal lengths of 6’9” casting 0.5 to 7g, and 7’ rated to cast 5 to 15g, the Agility LRF rods are ideal for all forms of LRF fishing.
